Miranda is the innermost and least round of the five largest moons of Uranus. It has a unique mosaic of highly varied geological structures rarely seen on other solar system solid bodies. While speeding by Miranda on 25 January 1986, the spacecraft Voyager 2 got the only closeup look at this moon, with a view of only one hemisphere.
